NeuroKinetics is a skeletal alignment technique which is:
  • non manipulative
  • non invasive
  • very gentle
  • and safe.

It was developed in Adelaide, South Australia over 30 years ago

Instead of forcing joints into a new position, nerve receptors around the skeleton are activated using a light finger touch. This instigates a process whereby the body realigns itself via muscle contraction.
This muscle contraction re-positions the bones and joints as required, to achieve optimum skeletal alignment.

The NeuroKinetics process is extremely relaxing and pain free, enabling a high degree of comfort during the treatment. Patients will often fall asleep during the treatment.
The method is a physiological technique that requires no energy transfer from the practitioner.

Criteria for this treatment.
The patient is relaxed and as long as the central nervous system is intact (ie: the nerves have not been severed), then NK can be effective in problem resolution.
The patient remains fully clothed during the treatment process which takes approximately 20 to 30 minutes to complete.

NeuroKinetics can assist people experiencing neck, shoulder, back or leg pain or limited movement as a result of skeletal misalignment.

What can be treated using NeuroKinetics?

NeuroKinetics can be used to treat people of all ages, from newborns to seniors.
90 % of skeletal conditions respond to treatment, with most being completely resolved.
NeuroKinetics can be effective in the treatment of:
  • Back Pain, Sciatica
  • Disc Herniation
  • Scoliosis, Lordosis, Kyphosis
  • OsteoArthritis
  • Migraine Headaches
  • Accident Trauma
  • Frozen Shoulder, Tennis Elbow
  • Knee and Hip Pain
  • Sporting Injuries
  • Sacroiliitis
  • Neuralgia
  • Spinal Cord Trauma
  • Pre & Post Natal

The Treatment

NeuroKinetics involves treating the entire skeletal structure, and the treatment takes approximately 20 to 30 minutes.

Progress is usually noted after one or two treatments, however, individual recovery rates and the length of time the condition has existed will determine the number of treatments required.
Even if NeuroKinetics is unable to help you, because it is non invasive and non manipulative, it cannot make your condition worse or do any harm.

The aim of NeuroKinetics is to restore optimum balance, remove pain and improve flexibility and mobility.

After Treatment

Skeletal alignment can continue for up to 48 hours, as the body seeks to realign itself to its optimum position. Some muscle adjustment may be felt as this occurs.
As a result of this muscle activity, soreness and some stiffness may be felt over the next day or two. To minimise this effect, a 4 minute warm to hot (comfortably hot) shower or 20 minute bath before bed is essential.

In addition, you may note that your shoes feel strange, To ensure old habits do not continue to pull the skeleton out of alignment, shoes should be re-soled and re-heeled, or replaced.
